The Get Smart Grammar Program
Interactive Fall Challenge
September 8–December 12 

If you've been wanting to learn grammar with Grammar Revolution, but you've been wanting a more interactive experience than I usually offer, this is it! Starting on September 8, I'll be hosting an interactive fall session of The Get Smart Grammar Program (The Get Smart Grammar Program is our signature program. It teaches you grammar and diagramming in a fun and visual way.) 

What does that mean? 

Each week, we'll move through three of the 37 lessons in the program. You can move through the lessons at your own pace, but the goal is to go through the assigned lessons each week.

You will write and diagram your own sentences for each lesson, and you'll post this homework in a private forum where I will "grade" your homework and give you feedback.

This challenge is geared toward 6th-graders–adults looking to learn grammar with the help of a community. You can expect to spend roughly 60 minutes a week (20 minutes/lesson) going through the lessons. 

My goal is to have you understanding the structure of language and to have a good time doing it! I'll be there to give you the support and encouragement you need to understand the material. 

Learn grammar and sentence diagramming in a fun and visual way with me, Elizabeth, as your guide! (You don't need to know any grammar or diagramming to get started.) 

Ask questions, get feedback, and learn with the feeling of being part of a community. 

You'll have lifetime digital access to The Get Smart Grammar Program. The program contains 37 lessons. Each lesson has a video and sentence diagramming exercises and answer keys. The program also contains periodic quizzes to gauge your progress. After you complete the program, you can always go back to the content if you need a refresher.

For sixth-graders–adults

• You'll understand how to diagram sentences. Diagramming is a powerful tool for using and understanding language.
  
  
• You'll remember what you learn. The visual nature of the sentence diagrams paired with the puzzle-like aspect of creating them will help you retain what you learn. Since all of the concepts build on each other, you're also continually reviewing easier concepts as you learn more difficult concepts.
  
  
• You'll be engaged. Our short videos (5-15 minutes each) teach you the concepts you need to learn without overwhelming you. Our exercises and tests give you space to practice and apply what you learn in the videos.
  
  
• You'll have the flexibility to move at your own pace. Each Monday of the interactive program, you'll get access to three new lessons until you have all 37 lessons at your disposal. Each lesson contains a 5-15 minute video and at least five sentence diagramming exercises. Just follow the lessons in order, and you can't go wrong. You should expect to spend about 60 minutes a week on this content. 

• You'll learn all of the important concepts in grammar. You will learn about the parts of speech, sentence types, verb types, independent and dependent clauses, phrases, and verbals. You will also learn how to diagram everything.

• You'll receive lifetime digital access. Even after the live program is over, you'll continue to have access to the program. The videos can be streamed or downloaded, and the written lessons and exercises may also be downloaded. You'll receive blank PDF lessons to write on as well as PDF answer keys to check work.

• You'll have my support. You will have access to a private forum where we'll be getting to know each other, and I'll be available for any questions that come up. You'll be a part of a supportive group of people who are also moving through the program. We'll cheer each other on and act as accountability buddies!
